How much does Decadent cost?
Decadent is free to download and free to use, with no limit on recipes. Two extras are for sale: Decadent Pro, $14.99 once, not a subscription, and Decadent+, $4.99 a month or $24.99 a year. Decadent+ gives you three free reads first.
What is free?
Web imports and on-device scans, as many as you like. Cook mode, timers and Listen. Nutrition per serving. Groceries by aisle. Dinner menus with their cooking order and grocery list. Collections, sharing, and three recipe card styles.
Do I pay again on my iPad, or for my family?
Not on your iPad: sign in with the same Apple Account, then tap Restore purchases in Decadent’s Settings. Decadent Pro works for your family with Family Sharing. Decadent+ is for one Apple Account.
Can I cancel Decadent+?
Yes, at any time. It renews until you cancel it. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Every recipe you saved stays yours, including the ones Decadent+ read.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to make and nothing to sign in to. Your recipes live on your iPhone or iPad.
Does Decadent change my recipes?
No. Web pages are read by Decadent’s own reader, with no AI. Posts, videos, screenshots and handwriting are written up by Decadent+ from only what the source says. Where an amount is missing, the line says no amount, so you can fill it in yourself.
What leaves my phone?
Only what you choose to send with Decadent+: the photo, the screenshots or the words of the one recipe you ask it to read. For a video, your iPhone does the listening and the reading, and only the words are sent. Listen in cook mode never leaves the phone and is never recorded.
Does it work in a kitchen with no signal?
Yes. Recipes and their photos are kept on your device. You only need a connection to bring a new recipe in.
